Many times they are displayed by the online companies for customer engagement via a single click to visit websites where they can buy products or services. This is a relatively new form of marketing which has become popular with the advance of smart phone users.

Banner ads are an example of digital ads that show up on web pages. Most people know these banner ads from the sidebars or the top sections of websites that they visit, but they are also known for popping up on your phone screen when you’re using apps.
